GEMS American Academy Qatar’s official transport provider is School Transport Services (STS), a part of the STS Group of companies.

As the GCC’s leading private operator for school transport, STS has been a proud partner to the education sector for over a decade. The school bus fleet, in line with their core values of Safe, Timely and Smart, is enabled with safety features such as GPS monitoring, electronic attendance systems, surveillance cameras and fatigue detection systems, amongst other technologiescenteredaround student safety. The transport staff undergo rigorous training programs in student welfare and road safety management.Each bus route has a dedicated bus driver and female bus guardian who will be a part of the student’s school bus experience.

Safety & Reliability

All buses are equipped with dedicated mobile phones to ensure they always remain in contact.

All buses are equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras. This mechanism ensures that your child’s experience on the bus is of the highest level. The surveillance camera footage will only be accessed by the Principal and senior management.

Bus guardians are placed on all buses to support and actively monitor the students.

Vehicles are comprehensively checked daily by two dedicated teams to ensure no child is left behind on the bus. In addition, the cleaning staff cleans and disinfects the bus each day.

Drivers are assessed and trained on a regular basis as per the transport regulations with refresher courses.

Our highly-trained and experienced school team will personally escort the elementary children to and from the vehicle to the school. This process ensures that all students are delivered safely to their classroom destinations.
