Ribbon Cutting - New Reception and New Parking
GAAQ continues to make an investment in our students, families and community. By creating additional space within the building for a larger reception area, the school moved multiple goals forward: (1) creating a space for students to wait before and after school (2) ensuring parent services are easily accessible during the school day (3) creating a space for dialogue with the Family First Cafe (4) moving staff into appropriate spaces which allowed for additional classroom space for students and the development of new programs such as eSports and Cybersecurity. Ultimately, enhancing the facility equals providing better opportunities for students.
Additionally, the new parking area will enhance safety. As the school has grown, the needs for driving, parking and transition space has also grown. With more than 26,000 sq meters developed for parent parking and our fleet of state of the art buses, we can rest assured that students can move safely in and around the building.
