Jordan Scheer

Lower School Principal

Jordan was appointed as Lower School Principal since the 2021 - 22 school year.

 

Originally from Island Heights, New Jersey in the USA, Jordan has been working in overseas education since 2010.  Most recently, he served as the Director of Instruction for three years at the QSI International School of Minsk in Minsk, Belarus.  Prior to that, he was the Director of the Omololu International School on the island of Anguilla from 2014 - 2018 and taught 5th grade and 7th grade Math and Science at the International School of Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago from 2010 - 2014.  Jordan has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Wake Forest University and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Supervision from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

 

Jordan is a lover of the outdoors and an avid runner, scuba-diver and traveler. In his downtime, he spends time at the beach or hiking with his wife, Alicia (who teaches middle school mathematics), and daughter, Avery.  Jordan and Alicia are excited to be members of the team at GAAQ and to be able to explore a new part of the world.
